MICAT Exam Pattern 2024, Marking Scheme – Check Latest Exam Pattern Here

MICAT 2024 is conducted two times annually. MICAT 1 and MICAT 2 are conducted in December, whereas MICAT 2 is organized in February. The MICAT admission process includes three steps- Main Entrance Exam, Group Discussion 1, and Personal Interview 2. They will be chosen through GD and PI, conducted two times a year. The students can get through any of the exams. The marks will be estimated for Group Exercise and Personal Exercise. Before deciding on the admission process, you must check the eligibility criteria once and for all.

The students will be admitted based on educational qualification, i.e. graduation certificate. Those who are in the last year will also be considered at the time of admission. The score of the PG exam is obligatory. MICAT Exam pattern shows variation every year, so the MICAT 2024 Exam pattern also has some other changes in how the questions are structured.

These include 25 questions in VA, QA, GA, and DCR. For the incorrect answer in the above sections, the marks will be removed by 0.25. The MICAT Exam includes two parts. One part will comprise General Awareness and Reasoning sections, and the second includes the Psychometric Test. The MICAT 2024 is a two-hour exam.

MICAT 2024 Exam Pattern:

MICAT Paper 1:

MICAT is structured to assist students in analytical ability, divergent thinking, written language skills, and general awareness concerning the communications industry. Every student participating in translucent substance by CAT or XAT OR GMAT except for marks are considered for MICAT. They need to complete the application form and obtain it verified by MICA. As per students’ skills in MICAT and CAT/XAT/GMAT, they’re going to participate in group Exercise and private Interviews.

Part I: Reasoning:

The topics that are given during this part are Visual Reasoning, Word Association, data Sufficiency, and Statement Conclusion. it’s thirty-five queries with five answer options for each question.

General Awareness:

The queries given in this section are on advertising, general global awareness, general knowledge, marketing, and media. It contains twenty-five queries with four answer options for every question.

Part II: Writing Ability:

In this section, students are provided the topic and you need to place down the topics supporting them. coming to the interpretation, you will need to support or do the opposite of what has been given. Not going through the pace would mean to not be marked for the essay writing. the next question during this section is on the story writing. A per pictures illustrated within the question, you wish to put pen to paper and write a story.

Psychometric Test:

The paper eleven is consisting of a psychometric test and you need to be done with this section within the span of 30 minutes.
