Admission Procedure

Applicants those willing to get admission in the state engineering colleges of Madhya Pradesh will have to appear in the national level entrance exam.

On appearing in the entrance exam, candidates will be considered for the counselling conduct by the concerned authority. On the basis of rank of the candidates, the seats will be allotted to them.

Entrance Exams

Admission in Madhya Pradesh, Engineering courses is offered on the basis of national level JEE Main 2024 entrance exam & 12th level scores. The candidates must appear in this exam for admission in four years of B.Tech programme.

There is no state level entrance exam organized by the state authority. Candidates those wish to get admission in the M.Tech course will be able to apply through GATE 2024 exam.

B.Tech Admission 2024

For appearing in the entrance exam candidates have to fulfill the eligibility criteria given below.

• Applicants should have 12th pass or its equivalent from any recognized board.
• It will be necessary to have 45% marks (40 % in case of reserved category).
• Applicants must have Physics, Mathematics and any one of the Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, and Technical Vocational subjects in the qualifying exam.
• Appearing candidates will be also eligible to apply.

Selection Procedure

After declaration of entrance exam result, the concerned authority conducts the centralized counselling for all candidates. The candidates will be called for the counselling as per the rank of the candidates in the merit list.

The admission will be followed by the document verification, filling of course and college choice, seat allotment and payment of counselling fee.

The seats will be allotted according to the candidate’s rank, filled choices and availability of seats. Candidates will have to report to the allotted college for admission after the allotment of seats.
