GSET 2024 Exam Pattern:

GSET Test will contain two papers and both the papers will contain only objective type questions. The syllabus for GSET Examination is going to be similar to UGC / CSIR NET. GSET 2024 Test Structure:

Examination Name – Gujarat State Eligibility Test (GSET).
Examination Mode– Pen and Paper.
Type of Queries – Objective Type Questions (MCQ).
Level of Exam – State Level. Number of Papers – 2.
Total Number of Queries – 50 questions in Paper 1 and 100 questions in Paper 2.
Marks per Questions – Both papers will 2 marks per question.
Period of the Exam – 3 hours (180 minutes) for every paper.

GSET Paper ­I shall be of general nature, intended to assess the teaching/research aptitude of the candidate. It’ll primarily be designed to check reasoning ability, comprehension, thought, and general awareness of the candidate. 50 multiple-choice questions of two marks each are going to be given, all questions are mandatory.

GSET Paper­ II shall contain 100 objective type compulsory questions supported the topic selected by the candidate. Each question will carry 2 marks.

GSET 2024 Marking Scheme:

The candidate should be aware of the marking scheme, as it helps the candidate in giving time to each question accordingly. Before knowing the marking scheme its is very important that the candidate is aware of the exam pattern.

There are going to be 2 papers, paper 1 will have 50 questions which can be of general nature, intended to assess the teaching/research aptitude of the candidate. it’ll primarily be designed to check reasoning ability, comprehension, thought, and general awareness of the candidate. Paper 2 will have 100 questions which can be based on the topic selected by the candidate.

GSET has objective type questions and each question carries the same mark. Each question in Paper 1 will carry 2 marks and the same are going to be there in Paper 2, 2 marks per question. There would be no negative marking for incorrect or wrong answers.
