Karnataka PGECET was held in offline mode (Pen & Paper based).
Candidates had to mark their responses on the OMR sheet.
Each paper carried only 1 section, aside from electrical engineering and mechanical engineering.
Electrical and mechanical engineering papers had two sections each – one regular and one for specialization.
Karnataka PGECET had multiple-choice, objective type queries. Out of the four answer options available, candidates had to choose one correct answer.
