Course: KEAM is conducted for admission to engineering courses and pharmacy.
Number of Papers: There’ll be two papers for engineering.
Exam Dates: The exam is held on the third week of Apr 2025 (Paper 1) week of Apr 2025 (Paper 2).
Papers: Paper one is for Physics & Chemistry and Paper two is for mathematics.
Number of Questions: There’ll be a total of one hundred twenty queries in every paper of engineering.
Question Paper Type: This exam can contain objective type queries. A total of 5 optional answers are provided for each question like (A, B, C, D, or E), candidates ought to choose the proper choice solely.
Subjects: For engineering, paper-1 will include Physics and Chemistry while paper-2 is of Mathematics.
Mode of Exam: OMR answer sheet is provided to answer the queries. The exam is conducted in pen and paper mode.
Duration: Total one hundred fifty minutes (2 ½ hours) are provided to answer every paper (10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.)
Total Marks: The exam can contain a maximum of 480 marks.
Marking Scheme: Four marks are provided in response to each correct answer.
Negative Marking: One mark is subtracted from the total score for each incorrect answer. For un-attempted queries, no marks are subtracted, but within the case of multiple answers, it’ll lead to the negative marking. Candidates are advised to attempt solely those queries, that they’re sure that they are correct.
