KSET Exam Pattern 2021, Marking Scheme – Check Here

KSET Exam Pattern: KSET is referred to as the Karnataka State Eligibility Test that’s organized by the govt. . of Karnataka to ensure that teaching standards are maintained for courses taught at the Higher Secondary level within the state of Karnataka.

Candidates need to offer the KSET 2021 Exam to be appointed as Higher secondary school Teachers also as Non-Vocational teachers in VHSE. KSET 2021 exam pattern is such the test is split into 2 papers that are of two hours long each. Both the KSET papers comprise of objective type multiple-choice queries.

The test will be consisting of two papers. Both the papers will consist of only
objective type Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs). The test will be held on 11th April (Sunday)
2021, in two separate sessions as mentioned below:

Paper-I: Shall consist of 50 objective type compulsory questions each carrying 2 marks. The
questions which will be of general nature, intended to assess the teaching/research aptitude of the
candidate. It will primarily be designed to test reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent
thinking and general awareness of the candidate.
Paper – II: Shall consist of 100 objective type compulsory questions each carrying 2 marks which
will be based on the subject selected by the candidate.
The candidate will have to mark the responses for questions of Paper-I and Paper – II on the
Optical Marks Reader (OMR) Sheet provided along with the test booklet.

KSET 2021 Exam Pattern:

KSET 2021 exam pattern is specified as per the exam pattern of UGC. The exam pattern of KSET is split into Paper I & II. Candidates got to clear both the papers of KSET to be eligible for the award of the certificate.

The exam pattern for Paper 1 and 2 of KSET is explained, and therefore the candidates also can check the list of subjects. The marking scheme of the KSET is additionally explained together with the overall number of questions in each paper. The candidates must note that there’s no negative marking in KSET.

KSET 2021 Marking Scheme:

For every correct answer in each, Paper I and Paper II, aspirants are awarded one mark. The only exception being for mathematics and Statistics subjects in Paper-II wherein each correct answer leads to 1.5 marks being added to an aspirant’s total marks. There is no negative marking in KSET 2021 exam.
