Sikkim TET 2024: STET Application Form (Soon), Dates, Eligibility Criteria

STET 2024 Application Form will be released soon through online mode. STET is also known as Sikkim Teachers Eligibility Test. It is conducted by the Human Resource Development Department, Sikkim within the provision of the Right of children to free Education (RTE Act 2009). It is conducted for the recruitment of teachers within the state of Sikkim whoever qualifies can get to teach in Government or private schools. During this exam, there are 2 levels i.e. Primary Primary.

Candidates will apply either for Paper-I or each and who gets qualify for paper -I can teach class I-V and who qualifies for paper-II ill teach from class VI-VIII. Eligible Candidates who wish to apply for the exam they must all the guidelines mentioned by the Sikkim State Board on their official website. Candidates will apply for the exam by registering through the official web site by filling the online application form.

Sikkim TET 2024 Exam dates:

Sikkim TET 2024 Application Form:

S TET 2024 online application form will from Feb 2024.
STET 2024 on-line Application the last date is February 2024.
Applicants ought to fill the online application form, from the official web site.

For Paper-I:
Candidates should have passed HSC with a minimum of 50% marks passed within the final year of D.EI.Ed.
Candidates passed in HSC with 50% marks in B.Ed.

For Paper-II:
Candidates should have the minimum qualification in B.A/B.Sc with minimum 50% marks years D.EI.Ed.
The candidate should pass B.A/B.Sc with minimum 50% marks B.Ed.

STET 2024 Admit Card:

Candidates should note that the STET 2024 Admit card is an important document and that they ought to carry to the examination center.
Candidates will download the STET admit card from the official web site.
SIKKIM TET Admit cards are going to be obtainable before a week before the examination.
No Physical Admit Card is going to be sent to students appearing for the examination.
Candidates should not forget their Admit card on the day of the examination, otherwise, he/she shall not be allowed to seat within the examination.

STET Exam Result 2024:

STET 2024 Result is going to be disclosed shortly after the examination.
STET Result is going to be declared on the official web site.
Candidates will view their results by providing their registration no on the official portal.
Candidates who clear the entrance examination are going to be eligible for a personal round interview.

STET 2024 Selection Procedure:

The participant’s selection method is going to be done based on the performance of the STET entrance exam conducted by the Sikkim authorities.
Participants are going to be shortlisted on the basis of marks scored within the entrance exam.
Participants even have to go for the final round of Personal Interview.

The validity of the STET Certificate:
All qualified candidates can have Seven years of the validity period for the STET certificate from the date of result announcement for all class candidates (consisting of each reserved & unreserved category).

Number of Attempts:
There is no restriction on the number of attempts someone will take for acquiring a STET certificate. A person qualified in STET can also appear once more for improving his/her score.

Qualifying Marks:
A person who scores 60% or a lot of in the STET exam is going to be considered as STET passed as Sikkim Govt., as decided to give the concession of 50 in STET to the persons belonging to SC/ST, OBC, differently-abled persons, etc., in accordance with their extant reservation policy;

This weight to the STET scores within the recruitment process; but, qualifying the STET would not confer a right on any person for recruitment/employment as it is only one of the eligibility criteria for appointment.
