The Government of Andhra Pradesh has responded positively and Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, which undertakes Sanatana Hindu Dharmam, came forward to fully fund the University. So, Sri Venkateswara Vedic University came into existence on12.07.2006.

The Sri Venkateswara Vedic University is a government university and it was established in the year of 2006 & the present affiliation of UGC. The University has been providing its endeavor to achieve academic excellence in education and research programs and publications. Shri Rameshwar Thakur Ji, the World’s First Chancellor of S.V. Vedic University. But for his earnest efforts, that were favorably responded by provincial governments of Andhra Pradesh and Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, the Vedic University was going to nit have come into existence.

The university has started its endeavor to attain academic excellence in teaching, research & journals. While strengthening the tradition of account in Vedas, Agamas as well as the Paurohithya, the University is keen to produce comprehensive Vedic Scholars, that understand‘Mantras’they recite. The applicants who are looking for admission should send the Application Form prescribed by correctly filling the same by an applicant’s own handwriting and signature for further details, downloading the application form and prospectus, please go to University websitewww.svvedicuniversity.ac.in

The Application Form and prospectus can be obtained from the person, free of the cost undersigned or can be downloaded from the University websitewww.swedicuniversity.ac.in. Admissions were based on the Entrance Test and knowledge of Sanskrit is essential for all courses.

SVVU 2023 Eligibility Criteria:

• Applicants applying forpre-degree courses should have at least 15 years of age (which don’t exceed 17 generations of age)
• To secure admission in traditional courses, candidates should have adequate knowledge of the respective Agamic, Cognate and Vedic literature/ scripture/ subject.
• For PG courses ( modern), applicants should be of at least 20 years of age and have completed their education 10+2+3 or 11+1+3 or some other equivalent ( level) accepted by the UGC. Students should have completed their graduation with a good understanding of the Sanskrit language.
• Contenders are advised to thoroughly go through the eligibility criteria as mentioned by Sri Venkateswara Vedic University on the course in which they wish to secure admission
