It’ll be conducted by a newly formed National Testing Agency (NTA). It’s organized to check the eligibility for assistant professors in each Indian University and Junior Research Fellowship for Indian nationals. Mode of Exam: It’ll conduct in online (Computer-based Test) mode.
Session: The exam can happen in 2 sessions (Paper 1 & Paper 2).
The medium of Exam: The question booklet is going to be in both English & Hindi language.
Duration: The time period for paper one is going to be one hour whereas for paper two it’ll be 2 hours.
Type of Questions: Objective-type queries are going to be asked in an exam. Candidates can choose correct responses from the given options.
Number of Questions: Paper one can comprise fifty queries while paper two with one hundred queries. All queries are mandatory.
Marking Scheme: 2 marks are going to be awarded for every correct response for each paper.
Negative Marking: There’s no negative marking within the examination.
