UTET Eligibility Criteria for Paper 1 2025:

The Minimum qualification criteria for applying for Paper 1 or Primary teacher are given below:
Candidates who scored a minimum of 50% marks in Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) are eligible and 2 years Diploma in education (D.EL.Ed/ BTC).
OR
Candidates who scored minimum 45% marks in Senior Secondary (or its equivalent)and 2 years Diploma in Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) as per the Regulations 2002.
OR
Candidates who scored minimum 50% marks in Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) and 4-year preliminary Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.ED).
OR
Candidates who scored minimum 50% mark in Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) and 2 years Diploma in Education (Special Education)
OR
Candidates who have completed their Graduation (or its equivalent) and 2 years Diploma in education (D.EI.Ed)/ BTC.
OR
A candidate who is Siksha Mitra or who passed 2 years Diploma (D.EL.Ed) from IGNOU.
OR
Candidates who have completed their Graduation with a minimum of 50% marks and D.Ed/B.Ed (Special Education).

UTET Eligibility Criteria for Paper 2 (Class VI-VIII):

The Minimum qualification criteria for applying for Paper 2 or Higher Primary teacher are given below:
Candidates who have completed their Graduation (or its equivalent) and passed or appearing in the final year of two years Diploma ((B.T.C/ D.EL.Ed) in education.
OR
Candidates who have completed their Graduation (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year Bachelor (B.Ed/L.T/Shiksha Shastri) in Education, in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time during this regard.
OR
Candidates who have completed their Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4 years Bachelor in Education (B.EL.ED).
OR
Candidates who have completed their Graduation (or its equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year Bachelor (B.Ed/L.T/Shiksha Shastri) in Education.
OR
Candidates who have completed their Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4 years B.A/ B.Sc.Ed or B.Sc.Ed.
OR
Candidates who have completed their Graduation with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year B.Ed. (Special Education).
