TNTET 2027: Tamil Nadu TET Application Form, Date, Eligibility, Pattern, Syllabus, Result, Preparation Tips

TN TET 2027 Application Form will be released soon. Together with the filing of the application form, candidates also will pay the prescribed application fees within the allotted time frame. Candidates who can fill the application form successfully are able to download TNTET admit card 2027 10 days before the day of the exam. TNTET 2027 test is predicted to be held in May 2027, the results of which is predicted to be out by June 2027.

TNTET 2027 are conducted to determine the eligibility of the candidates as teachers in classes one to eight. The test of TNTET are held in offline mode for 2 papers – Paper I (for classes 1 to 5), and paper II (for classes 6 to 8). Each paper I and II are held for a complete of 150 marks for one marks each. TNTET 2027 Important Dates:

TNTET Application Form 2027:

The application form of TNTET 2027 is released by the examination authority in March 2027. Candidates are able to fill the application form in on-line mode until April 2027. Candidates should meet the eligibility criteria before they start filling the TNTET form. Candidates should have the subsequent particulars ready with them before they begin filling TNTET application form:

Scanned Passport size photograph ((JPG/JPEG /PNG format of size 20-60 kB)
Scanned copy of signature (JPG/JPEG/PNG format of size 10-30 kB)
Active mobile number and email ID.
Bank details

a) Candidates should apply only through online mode in the TRB website http://www.trb.tn.nic.in or go for the direct link provided above.
b) Use separate application for Paper-I and Paper-II.
c) Candidates should ensure that they have their scanned recent colour passport size photograph (JPG/JPEG /PNG format of size 20-60 KB) and signature (JPG/JPEG/PNG format of size 10-30 KB) separately.
The online application should be uploaded with the photograph and signature of the candidate with complete information.
d) A valid e-mail id and Mobile Number are mandatory for registration and e-mail id should be kept active till the declaration of results.
e) Candidates are only fully responsible for all the details and documents submitted along with the application. Candidates have to go through all the instruction carefully and carefully fill up details and upload document.
f) The online application without candidate’s photograph and signature and incomplete information will be rejected.

TNTET Application Fees 2027:

The application fees for the TNTET 2027 are Rs. 500/- for general category candidates and Rs 250/- for reserved (SC, ST, PWD) category candidates.

The application fee is paid through online mode (Net banking/Credit Card / Debit Card) or offline mode (Demand Draft / Postal Order)

The candidates, who want to appear for both Paper-I and Paper-II, should pay separately for both.

TNTET Eligibility Criteria 2027:

The examination authority can determine the eligibility criteria of TNTET 2027 exam for all aspiring candidates. it’s necessary for the candidates to meet TNTET eligibility criteria 2027 to avoid rejection at the later stage of the selection method. The eligibility criteria of TNTET 2027 is determined on the basis of the age and education qualification of the candidates. 

TNTET Age Criteria 2027:

The candidates must be minimum of 18 years old. There is no upper age limit.

TNTET Eligibility Criteria on the basis of Education Qualification:

For appearing in Paper I:
Candidates should have passed Higher Secondary with a minimum of 50% marks and have passed or appearing in final year of 2-year diploma in elementary education. 
Or
Candidates should have passed Higher Secondary with a minimum of 50% marks and passed or showing in the final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.). 
Or
Higher Secondary with not but 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year diploma in Education (Special Education). 
Or
Candidates should hold Graduation degree and have passed or showing in final year of a 2-year diploma in teaching.
Or
Graduation with a minimum of 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed).

2. For Appearing in Paper II:
Candidates should be Graduates and have passed or appearing in final year of 2-year diploma in elementary education. 
Or
Must hold a Graduation degree with a minimum of 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)
Or
Graduation with not but 45% marks and have passed or appearing in final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.), as per NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) laws.
Or
Must have passed Higher Secondary with a minimum of 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year Bachelor in elementary education (B.El.Ed.).
Or
Higher Secondary with not but 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc. Ed or B.A. Ed./B.Sc. Ed.
Or
Must be a Graduate with a minimum of 50% marks and have passed or appearing in the final year of B.Ed. (Special Education).
Or
Any candidate who has qualified B.Ed. the programme, recognized by the NCTE is additionally eligible to appear in TET.

TNTET Exam Pattern 2027:

The exam pattern of TNTET is prescribed by the examination authority for all the candidates who would like to look for the exam. By going through the TNTET exam pattern 2027, candidates can understand the sections from where the queries are often asked within the exam, total number of queries asked, marks distribution, duration of exam etc. 

TNTET Exam Pattern 2027 – Paper I:
Contain question from five sections – Child Development and Pedagogy, Language one(Tamil/Telugu/Malayalam/Kannada/Urdu, Language two – English, mathematics and Environmental Studies.
The test for the paper I will contain a complete of one hundred fifty queries of one mark each.
No marks are subtracted for any wrong response given by the candidate.

TN TET Exam Pattern 2027 – Paper II:
Paper-II can contain queries from four sections – Child Development and Pedagogy, Language one (Tamil/Telugu/Malayalam/Kannada/Urdu), Language 2 – English, and i) For Maths and Science/Social Science 
The test are held for a total of one hundred fifty queries of one mark every. Candidates are assigned three hours to complete the test.
No negative marking.

TNTET 2027 Admit Card:

The admit card of TNTET is issued to solely those candidates who can fill the application form with success. The admit card is issued within the last week of April 2027 and candidates are able to download the admit card till the date of the test. To download the admit card, candidates can use their login credentials.

The admit card of TNTET can contain the details related to candidates and the examination – name if the candidates, date of birth, registration number, roll number, date and time of examination, a paper that the test has to be taken, exam center details. Candidates should take a print of the admit card and bring it to the test center on the day of the test. Together with the admit card, candidates should also bring one of the prescribed photograph ID proofs – Aadhaar card, voter ID card, driver’s license, PAN card, Passport. No candidates are allowed to take the test without the admit card and the prescribed photo ID proof. 

TNTET Answer Key 2027:

The answer key of TNTET is released once the exam gets over. TNTET Answer key 2027 can contain the correct answers to all the queries asked in the exam. By going through the answer key of TNTET, candidates are able to calculate their expected marks and so predict their chances to qualify for the test. Candidates may raise objections just in case of discrepancies within the answer key. After scrutinizing the provisional answer key, the exam authority can release the final TNTET answer key 2027 on the basis that the final result is announced.

TNTET Result 2027:

The results of TNTET are announced in an on-line mode for both the papers. TNTET result 2027 is often checked by the candidates by using their login credentials. The TNTET result 2027 can contain the marks scored by the candidates and therefore the qualifying status. All those candidates who score 60% marks (general category) and 55% marks (SC/ST and PWD category) within the TNTET test are considered qualified.

TNTET Cut Off 2027:

The cut off of TNTET is the minimum qualifying marks that are determined by the examination authority in order to shortlist the candidates to the next level of the selection process. TNTET cut off 2027 is determined category wise for each paper.
