Admission Procedure
The admission in Pune city will be provided through various entrance exams. Candidates can appear in state level, university level and national level entrance exams to get admission.
Most of the universities conducted its own entrance exam for offering engineering courses. Candidates can appear in any one of the exams to get admission in Pune.
Entrance Exams
Applicants can apply through JEE Main entrance exam conducted by the (NTA) National Testing Agency as a national level exam. For admission in B.Tech courses, candidates can appear in JEE Advanced after qualifying the JEE Main exam.
Applicants can also apply through MH CET state level entrance exam which is managed by the DTE, Maharashtra. The application form can be filled through online mode only. Applicants should upload the scanned images in the application form as per prescribed by the exam conducting authority (DTE Maharashtra).

- Applicants must pass the 10+2 class or equivalent exam from any recognized board.

- Applicants must score 45% for general category and 40% marks for SC/ST category candidates.

Selection Procedure
For getting admission in the state of Pune, candidates have to appear in one of the entrance exams. After declaration of entrance exam result, the concerned authority will conduct the centralized counselling for all candidates.
The candidates have to appear in the counselling as per their ranks in the merit list. The admission procedure will be followed by the document verification, seat allotment, and payment of counseling fee.
The seats will be allotted according to the candidate’s rank, filled choices and availability of seats. After issuing the allotment letter, candidates can report to the allotted college for admission.
