KTET 2025 Eligibility Criteria:
Eligibility for category 1st:
Applicants should have passed Senior Secondary Exams with 45% marks and hold a 2-year diploma in Elementary Education/2 year Trained Teacher’s Certificate (TTC) or He/she should have passed the senior secondary examination with 50% marks and possess 2-year diploma in Education (SE)/4 year B.El.Ed.
Eligibility for Class 2nd:
Applicants should hold B.Sc / B.Com degree / BA and 2 years Trained Teacher’s Certificate (TTC)/Diploma in elementary education OR hold BA / B.Com / B.Sc with 45% marks by with one year B.Ed. OR have completed senior secondary examination with having 50% marks by with four years B.El.Ed/ BA / B.Ed. / B.Sc / BA.Ed. B.Sc.Ed.
Eligibility for Class 3rd:
Applicants should have B.Com/B.Sc/B.A with 45% marks and B.Ed in a connected subject or passed LTTC.
Eligibility for mathematics, Physics, Botany, Chemistry and Zoology: candidates should hold M.Sc.Ed. In connected subject by with getting 50% marks and it should be acquired from one amongst Regional Institutes of Education sponsored by the NCERT.
Eligibility for botany and Zoology: candidates should have M.Sc.Ed degree in life science by having 50% marks.
Examination Pattern:
There will be a separate paper in every class.
All the queries are found as multiple alternative queries (in nature) and carrying one mark every.
Out of the four alternatives, only one answer is correct.
The total number of MCQ queries in type is 150.
