What is AP EdCET?
Andhra Pradesh Education Common Entrance Test (AP EdCET) is held by the Andhra University, Visakhapatnam on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) to provide admission to candiates in B.Ed regular programme of 2 years duration. The scores of APEd CET are applied to get admissions to University/Government/Aided/Un-aided/Private Colleges of Education in Andhra Pradesh.
AP EdCET 2022 Application Form:
The AP EdCET application form has been available from March 2022 to April 2022. Those applicants have an interest and eligible; they will fill the application form through online mode by following the straightforward steps mentioned below.
The AP Ed. CET application form has been available from March to April 2022.
First of all, applicants got to go on the official website of Andhra University, Visakhapatnam on the behalf of APSCHE.
The applicants should need to make the payment of application fee and check the Success/Failure status of Fee Payment.
Candidates got to register themselves by submitting the specified details within the required field.

AP EdCET 2022 Application Fee:

AP EdCET 2022 Eligibility Criteria:
Those candidates are going to fill the application form of AP Ed. CET, they must need to check their eligibility criteria and also the details mentioned below.
Candidates should belong from Indian Citizenship.
The applicants should satisfy Local/Non-Local status requirements as laid down within the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) Order 1974 as subsequently amended.
Candidates should be qualified in graduation level B.A./B.Sc./B.Sc. (Home Science)/B.Com./ B.C.A./B.B.M.
They just need to score a minimum of 50 % marks either within the Bachelor’s Degree i.e. B.A./B.Sc./B.Sc. (Home Science)/B.Com./B.C.A./B.B.M and or within the Postgraduate Degree in relevant subject or 5 years integrated course within the relevant subject of methodology or the other qualification equivalent thereto.
The applicants must be qualified in B.E / B.Tech with a minimum of 50% marks, with Mathematics, Physics are eligible for admission into the Course.
AP EdCET 2022 Exam Pattern:
Those applicants have applied during this examination; they must need to prefer the exam pattern for better preparation.
Mode of Exam: The Exam is going to be Conducted through Offline Mode.
Duration of Exam: The test paper is going to be for two hours.
Types of Exam: The AP Ed. CET is an objective type (multiple choice) examination.
A number of questions: The candidate has got to answer 150 questions during this Exam.
Number of Marks: The test paper shall contain 150 Marks.
Medium of Test: The question paper will be in English and Telugu except for English methodology. However,
candidates opting to write the Entrance Test in Urdu medium will be served with Urdu paper
and such candidates shall opt Kurnool as Test Centre.
Scheme of Exam Subject wise:
Part-A: General English – 25 questions for 25 marks
Part-B: General knowledge – 15 questions for 15 marks and Teaching Aptitude – 10 questions for 10 marks
Part-C: Methodology: Candidate has got to choose one among the subsequent subjects. It consists of 100 questions for 100 marks.
Mathematics – 100 questions for 100 marks
Physical Sciences – 100 questions for 100 marks (Physics – 50 questions for 50 marks; Chemistry – 50 questions for 50 marks)
Biological Sciences – 100 questions for 100 marks (Botany – 50 questions for 50 marks; Zoology – 50 questions for 50 marks)
Social Studies – 100 questions for 100 marks (Geography – 35 questions for 35 marks; History – 30 questions for 30 marks; Civics – 15 questions for 15 marks; Economics – 20 questions for 20 marks)
English – 100 questions for 100 marks
AP EdCET 2022 Syllabus:
Applying candidates must need to prefer the syllabus for the higher preparation of examination. The questions are generally asked from three main components composed of general English (reading comprehension, sentence, correction, preposition, tenses, vocabulary, synonyms, antonyms, the transformation of sentences, and etc) general knowledge and teaching aptitude(questions related to history, geography ecology, economics and etc).

AP EdCET 2022 Admit Card:
Those candidates have successfully submitted their form, they will download the admit card through online mode by visiting on the official website. Applicants should need to submit their login details to download the admit card.
AP EdCET 2022 Admit Card is going to be available on May 2022. Candidates should need to carry the specified documents at the examination center together with the required documents. Candidates should even have to take the print out of it for future use.
AP EdCET 2022 Result:
The AP Ed. CET Result will declare on the official website of Andhra University, Visakhapatnam on the behalf of APSCHE and those applicants have given the examination, they will check their results through online mode.
In May 2022, the result will declare and applicants are going to be counseling procedure if they need obtained qualified marks within the examination and shortlisted within the merit list as per the cut-off marks provided through authority.
AP EdCET 2022 Counseling:
The AP Ed. CET counseling is going to be conducted through Andhra University, Visakhapatnam on the behalf of APSCHE and those applicants are shortlisted within the merit list, they’re going to be called out for the counseling procedure. the selected candidates should need to carry the required documents at the counseling center for verification.
The seat is going to be allotted to the selected candidates on the basis of their qualified marks, choice filling and seat availability. Allotted candidates should need to report at the allotted institute with required documents.
